Seedcamp is coming to the Valley and we are looking forward to introducing the
Seedcamp Teams to you.
This is a great chance for you to interact with some of the brightest
web start-ups coming out of Europe. A Seedcamp gives you the chance to
meet in small groups with the start-ups, hear what they are working on,
and discuss your specialty with them (from product to investment,
anything useful goes).
Ultimately we hope this is the start of a mutually beneficial relationship
between you (getting a better understanding of startups from Europe, seeing
what innovative ideas they are working on, helping you with connections into
Europe as per your needs) and the Seedcamp Teams (seeing the US entrepreneurship culture
in action, meeting with relevant advisors/mentors who can provide tangible
advice, starting business discussions).
Below is the general agenda and ideally
you should set aside the day to be a part of the event.
Mini Seedcamp - 10th November
This day kicks off at 8:30am and ends at 5:00pm with an emphasis on 1:1 mentoring, hearing 5 minute presentations on who the startups are and what they are building, and 1-2 panel sessions. It is being hosted at Microsoft's campus in the valley. There will be after event drinks hosted by Orrick at 5:30pm at 1000 Marsh Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025-1015.
